Loch Lomond Whiskies has capped off 2024 with a major win, earning the “Scotch Whisky Producer of the Year” trophy at the 2024 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London!
The last 18 months have been a landmark period for Loch Lomond. After being named “Most Awarded Distillery” at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2023, they added 16 new medals this year, more than any other Scotch distillery. Among these, Inchmurrin 12 Year Old won “Best in Class for Scotch Whisky Under 15 Years Old” at IWSC, complementing their Producer of the Year award to round out a season of achievements.
This success builds on accolades like Loch Lomond 18 Year Old taking top honours in the Gentleman’s Journal Drinks Awards and “Whisky of the Year 2024” from The Whisky Exchange. According to the latest IWSR report, Loch Lomond is also the world’s fastest-growing top 25 malt whisky brand, a title they have claimed twice in the past three years.
